Construction features

Winding
Copper wire coated with polyvinyl chloride with a high insulating capacity.

Shaft-Rotor
The shaft is a high tensile stainless steel AISI 420; the dynamically balanced rotor is made with “squirrel cage” copper bars and headers.

Bushings
in sintered graphite impregnated with antifriction metals enable minimum friction and are remarkably suited to water lubrication.

Thrust Bearing
Lubricated and cooled with water, oscillating sliding block type, (the principle is similar to the Mitchell or Kingsbury types). Bi-directional rotation.

Supports and components
Supports in high tensile castiron GJL 200 EN 1561 and outer jacket in stainless steel. The rubber compensation diaphragm allows varying the volume of water inside the motor.

Seals
The seals are the double rubber lip type lubricated with water and special non-toxic and non-emulsifying grease. The motors are also provided with an effective rubber device (labyrinth) against sand. Special mechanical seals can be fitted on request.

Supply Cable
Three unipolar EPDM rubber type 07BB-F (HD 22.12 norms) cables, of 4 m lenght each one.
